We collect the following information when you create an account:

• Email Address - Required for email-based sign-in and communication.
• Google OAuth Data - When signing in with Google, we collect your:
  • Google ID
  • Email Address
  • Name and Family Name (used only during initial sign-up to create a nickname)

Although Google OAuth provides additional data like profile photos, we neither store nor use such data.

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

We rely on our hosting provider Supabase to manage and store app-related data.
Supabase may collect certain technical information as part of their infrastructure operations, including:

• IP addresses
• Timestamps

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

• Authentication and Access Control - To verify your identity and grant access to the app.
• App Functionality - To provide account-related services, such as managing your login credentials and gameplay settings.
• Communication - To respond to account deletion or data download requests.

We do not use your data for tracking, marketing, or third-party analytics.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies strictly for the following purposes:

• Language Preferences - To remember your language settings.
• Authentication - To manage session-based access to your account.

No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
However, your data may be processed by trusted service providers for operational purposes, including:

• Supabase - For secure data hosting and management.
• Google - For OAuth-based authentication. Refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more details about their data practices.

All third parties are required to adhere to strict confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Your Rights

As a user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

5.1. Access and Data Portability

You can request access to your personal data and receive a copy in a portable format.
Data download requests are typically fulfilled within 30 days and can be made directly through the app or by contacting us.

5.2. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time via the app. Upon initiating the deletion process:

• Your account and associated data will be marked for deletion.
• There is a 90-day waiting period during which you may cancel the deletion process. After this period, your account will be permanently deleted.
• Upon final deletion, any interactions with our game (e.g., previous games, contributions) will be anonymized to protect your privacy while maintaining game integrity.
• For legitimate interests, such as enforcing bans or addressing terms-of-service violations, we may retain minimal identifying data as required by law.

5.3. Correction

If your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request corrections by contacting us.

5.4. Objection and Restriction

You may object to or request restriction of certain data processing activities if they are not necessary for the operation of the app.

5.5. Withdrawal of Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
For EU users, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for operational purposes:

• Account-Related Data - Stored indefinitely unless a deletion request is made.
• Operational Data - Audit logs and similar records are deleted after 3 months unless required for security or legal compliance.

Once data retention periods expire, the data is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Children's Privacy

Quantise is not intended for users under 13 years old.
For users in the EU or EEA, you must be at least 16 years old to use Quantise unless your country allows a lower age of consent (minimum 13) and you have obtained verifiable parental approval.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from users below the applicable minimum age.
If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

Parents or guardians can contact us to manage their child’s data or request account deletion if they believe their child has used the app without consent.

8. Data Security

We implement robust measures to protect your data:

• Encryption - All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit via TLS.
• Access Control - Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel.

While we strive to maintain the highest security standards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
